I liked how Connie pushed through them though I did wish that the character had went to therapy.
Kathy’s story was okay, just not that engaging. Usually I would despise this type of character. Ireland has moved on while she was away so Signora has trouble finding a place to live and work. As with much of her work, the setting is Ireland.
Evening Class by Maeve Binchy. Binchy somehow casts a storytelling spell on the reader, so you page-turn once, then again, and again. Her plot, as usual, had a fair amount of angst and marital affairs, but I guess I’m getting used to that.
