She is taken by the “others” to be studied, she seems to have collected some of the dragons powers and her vampire savior did as well. There is an extreme lust going on between the two, it’s flaming things up in smoke. She remains a captive, while danger surrounds the compound. One dragon wants her powers, and an A human Paranormal investigator finds herself caught in the middle of a paranormal battle saved by a vampire and kissed by a dragon lady before her death.
One dragon wants her powers, and another dragon carries an evil ancient who wants the Queen dead. Yes, a whole lot of wanting people dead going on.
The two lust birds keep lusting and everything marches on to beause torched ending. I did not enjoy this one as much as the previous books. It just was too easy of a love match for me.
I like more strife and struggle. I did find myself chuckling again, which it what I love about this series. Mar 08, Anita rated it it was ok Bdcause To be honest, this book was not good. It seemed as though someone published the outline for asid book, rather than bothering to actually write it. I don’t know, but the result was bad. Half of the book is dedicated to explaining the history of vampires, and the other half to the epic unfolding of a phophesy that makes hairdresser Eva the queen of vampires.
Which leaves about 10 pages total for her romance with werewolf Gabrie To be honest, this book was not good.
Which leaves about 10 pages total for her romance with werewolf Gabriel, and even fewer pages to develop the couple dozen new characters. There were five bewildering pages in the middle that took Eva from not trusting Gabriel to being ready to wed him – and none of it made any sense. To bardsldy completely fair, I read this book with a fever, so I might have missed some details, but really, this book was weak.
I still like the series generally, though, so I’ll give at least one more book a shot to see if it gets better. May 19, Jennifer rated it really liked it Shelves: The third book in the Broken Hearts Vampire Series.
The town of Broken Heart, Oklahoma is not your average town.
After 11 of it’s population were attacked on the same night and all turned vampire – the town underwent a shift to a Paranormal Community.
This book features another one of the 11 that were turned – the town hair stylist Patsy Donahue. Patsy is kind of bored now that she is a vampire. She doesn’t have to worry about bills since the consortium paid off everyone’s mortgages and pretty vampirw The third book in the Broken Hearts Vampire Series.
She doesn’t micehle to worry about bills since the consortium paid off everyone’s mortgages and pretty much ownes the whole town. Vampires don’t need a whole lot of hair maintanence – so she is seriously thinking about adding Shifter grooming to the sign so she can drum in the werewolf business to keep busy.
Her primary concern is her son Wilson – typical jerk son who smoked pot and has a grudge the size of a house on his shoulders. That is until she is attacked outside of her shop on the way back to her double-wide. Apparently all the remaining Turn-bloods One of the 11 went into the light in book 1 are being targeted.
Fortunatly that very night all the Turn-bloods were issued additional security – so Patsy had a guard with her and together they were able to get the demon thing to go saaid.
Unfortunatly – her guard was hurt – so she hauled him into her trailer and went to look for his things outside.
When she gets outside she finds another man down – torn up just as bad as her guard. Confused and more than a little frightened – she calls the main becauae and asks for help right away Paranormal When the rescue crew get there they tell Patsy that the man down in her yard is her gaurd – confused Patsy tells them about the hot drink of water in her trailer who told her he was her guard and who got hurt trying to save her. They run into her trailer but the hot mystery hunk is gone – leaving only a little blood behind.
This is another fast and fun read. I am really hooked on this series – which says a lot. I think it would be easy to go overboard with that – so I am vampkre that it’s handled well and that – as a person with no children in her life – it doesn’t alienate me and turn me off the series. I am very bardsle to dig into the rest of the gampire Alot of stuff happened in this book and Bwcause am very curious to see where the next book takes us.

Because Your Vampire Said So
Bardsley seems to have some kind of freakish crush on Mary Janice Davidson. Not to mention that I am insanely tired of all the little “short stori What.
Not to mention that I am insanely tired of all the little “short stories” she puts within each of her books. The others had Lorcan’s stories; this one had Ruadan’s. I mostly skim those parts. The majority of the time, the point of the short story is to explain something from the past, such as the Turning of each Ancient. This could be easily accomplished with a two or three sentence paragraph. There’s no need for a boring old short story. Although in all honesty, as rushed as she makes her books, the entire thing feels like a short story.
I am just mad. The last half of the book completely ruined the first half. And truth be told, I’m tired of the single parents rushing vardsley get some nooky becuse their kids are in danger.
Moms don’t think like that. Patsy’s in bed in a cave with Gabriel; her son Wilson is at the compound miles away. She hasn’t talked to michepe in a day or two.
