I know they had some intimate moments in the book, but they were so shortttt But when description is used without the slightest thought for occasion, thesauruses become the new human brain, the act of making pancakes is sensationalized to a life and death experience, metaphors are utterly abused, and each tree in a forest e.wooodiwiss given an individual sentence of description – whether likening it to kathlwen and gloomy skeletons or imposing statues – I draw the line.
If anything, it’s helped him realize an empowering philosophy; that there are ways to do anything and little should hold you back. The man inside me trembles whenever you’re near, and I groan with agony for the touch of wintr hand laid upon me in a soft caress.
She probably would un been much more annoying if this story were written in modern times, but because it was a period story, she was more bearable.

I remember thinking years ago I think I was like in junior high when I read this book for the first time that it reminded me of Beauty and the Beast.

One thing that I give Woodiwiss credit for, her decisions on plot aside, is that she has the ability to create brain candy for the reader, where you’re just happy to munch on it and have an escape for a few hours. Anyway, the plot is inplausible, but I enjoyed all the sexual tension. He was incredibly smart, calculating, brave, and he had a sense of humor.
